Well, the excitement started at the Toronto airport with an unexpected meeting with Boston Bruin immortal Bobby Orr (the best defenceman that ever played hockey - for those who are too young to remember him). We chatted for a while and I got a couple of autographs).
The flight was filled with journalists and photographers coming out to provide Olympic coverage.
We were greeted with a sunny, warm day in Vancouver, arriving at 2 PM. An hour later, I witnessed the torch run through Ladner, a community south of Vancouver where I am staying.
Everyone in Vancouver is very friendly and helpful.
Tomorrow is another busy day with uniform and accreditation pickup followed by viewing the sights in downtown Vancouver and finishing with a Opening ceremonies rehearsal. I will send a blog to keep you caught up!
No pictures with Number 4?!
