One more Golden Day at Vancouver 2010

Friday proved to be a golden day at Vancouver 2010.
Starting with a trip to the Athlete's Village on the Bombardier Line, I enjoyed a few moments of early morning solitude. But soon I was back at first post looking at the majestic mountains, blue waters and olympic rings from my workplace balcony.
As I moved to my second post at the Olympic Club, I greeted Jeff Hutcheson, Beverly Thomson and Jeff's wife Heather, as they were out for a morning walk. On my break, I tried out the bobsled adapted for the sidewalks of Vancouver. I later greeted three member of the Women's Swiss ice hockey team and talked strategy for beating the USA team.
This evening we went to the Awards Cermony/ Concert at BC place to watch the Australian snowboarder take the gold medal in the 1/2 pipe event. Theory of a Deadman concluded the award ceremony and rocked the night away in one of the many concerts taking place in Vancouver tonight.

Tomorrow night - WOMAN'S HOCKEY!
