Wednesday February 17 was a beautiful sunny crisp day in Vancouver, reminding me of a day in the middle of April in Southern Ontario. The streets are full of people from around the world with a strong continguency of Vancouverites and other Canadians robed in Red and White. The next most popular colour found on the streets are the smurfy blue volunteer uniforms.
Gordon Campbell - Primier of BC, Jacques Rogge - President of the IOC, and the Bermuda members of the IOC were some of the people I greeted today in my post at the Club.
The photo ops today include a picture of the Sweden-Germany hockey game, the "Ice Hole" award that Langley brewery hoped to give to Steve Colbert during his live show in Vancouver today, a "special" volunteer holding the Olympic torch, my two volunteer posts at the Olympics and new pins in my collection.
Enjoy the Olmpics and the blog.
